Get yourself the tapes and bloodywell watch season 9. My theory on this was that the sex did not happen for the first time in Althings. It had been going on for a while in some form or another with Scully [I presume] not feeling comfortable with it. Althings was the first time she let herself realise that being with Mulder and all ways was her destiny. That's my take anyway.

I think that when the first sex did happen it was at Scully's place and in her bed and I think that that SS was quite literal in his statement. After all I assumed that the cameras where all over her apartment and that's where she jumped Mulder's bones...."one lonely night"

Funny-that, I always thought all her nights were lonely, lol.

I"d say that after she did this she was always unsure about whether they were doing the right thing until Althings made her realise it was right and from then on we could see a real difference in the way they acted with eachtoher....maybe more as a couple.

So , IG , get the tapes and watch the whole thing. IN fact watch S8 and S9. You can skip the Reyes/Dog only eps but even these have insight into the MSR even though Mulder is not there. Put yourself out of your misery or at the very least put us out of our misery so we can have a better discussion with you because I am sure you will have alot more to say about many more aspects of S9 and I'm sure lots of us would like to know your feelings about many of the things that you haven't seen. So watch. How often have I said it, Islandgirl. WATCH THE DAMN SEASON and give us your insights.
