He'd shaped the tofu in the shape of a cat since Kande had decreed no meat on the premises. Naturally, it tasted like rubber. When he heard Kande screeching his name, he dabbed his lipless mouth with a napkin and checked his own beeper. In just a few hours, the abductors (friends of Bubba, natch) would have what they needed from Rabid and Bubba would rule the town. Until then, he'd better go organize those papers Kande was going on about just to keep up appearances.

Bubba shuffles into the main part of the Klub and sighs. Det is flying around the ceiling, powered by a silver canister, and Kande is making the paper mess worse by jumping around and trying to catch her. Bubba contemplates just going ahead and using his phaser on them now, but remembers just in time he needs to continue to keep up appearances until the reformation of Rabid is complete.

Before he cleans up the mess, Bubba takes a peek through the telescope Kande had set up so she could watch Scully in the bedroom of her townhouse. He adjusts the controls so he can see what's happening on the mountain. First he sees Scully trying to persuade the out-of-breath Mayor to get up off the trail floor and keep moving. Changing the viewer slightly, he also sees KS and CW rolling around on the trail, KS sitting on CW's stomach and trying to remove her shoes.

Bubba puts his head in his hands. These humans! He will be so glad when he's in charge and can whip them into shape as his slaves. He returns to the telescope, only this time he trains it on Stardoe's laboratory. He gasps at what he sees. This can't be happening!
