Kande continues to count her coins. SMH sighs and takes pity on her.

"How much dough do you need?" she asks, burrowing in her purse.

"Not money. Dough, like in cookie dough," Kande informs her as she grabs onto the railing leading into the Klub and pulls herself upright, knees creaking. "I haven't done my annual cookie baking."

"You? You bake cookies?" SMH raises her eyebrows, glances over at Stardoe and the Mayor and they all burst into laughter. Kande frowns at them.

"Which is why I'd be borrowing dough," she tells them speaking slowly and clearly. "JD is always baking this time of year."

"Oh yes, JD," the three sigh as they remember JD's cookies and hors deovres from Christmases past. JD really loves to do things right at Christmas.

"Well, I'll run over to KS's house and see if that's where she went," SMH says brightly, twirling her brightly colored bag. "I need to wrap Tony's present."

"Uh...isn't there something in there for me too, that you want to wrap?" the Mayor asks coyly. SMH turns pale and she hides the package behind her back.

"Did I mention Tony has a gaping hole in his neck from a gunshot wound?" SMH tries to throw the Mayor off track to no avail. With a furrowed brow, the Mayor orders SMH back to the mall, and not to come back until she'd bought both the Mayor and Stardoe presents.

Meanwhile...KS tosses her leather duster over the coat rack in the corner and fights her way through mistletoe, wreathes, decked halls with boughs of holly, etc.

"JD? Oh, JD! I need you for a devious plot!" she hollers, doing a little jig with a dancing Santa JD has placed on a desk near the kitchen. "JD? Where are you?" She walks into the warm, scented kitchen to find Scully99 drinking a cup of cocoa with JD.
