KS and SD stop their happy dance and look at kande. "Oooo...this really hurts." Kande grimaces from the pain.

"You just realized that?" KM asks, sarcasm dripping from her voice.

"Ouch. No, that's not it." Kande shifts to a more comfortable position. "Look around you. Almost everyone is here." The group looks around, then back at kande.

"So? What's your point?" Rabid asks. "Ow! Bit my tongue!" Rabid's frown turns to a smile as she sucks on her bleeding tongue.

Making a face, kande continues with her point. "It's not who IS here, it's who is NOT here." Again, the group looks confused. "Bubba and Islandgirl!" The groups looks more lost, if that's even possible. "You know how susceptible he is to IG's stories, especially the ones from the married series. She'll be weaseling free drinks out of him all night!"

No one in the group appears the least bit concerned by this revelation. Frustrated, kande tries one more time to make them see The Truth. "If Bubba is plying IG with drinks and listening to her read from the NC-17 series, then he won't be decorating for Sunday's bash, he won't be baking the cake, he won't be buying and wrapping presents. NOW do you see what I mean?"

KS goes pale. She looks at Rabid, who was already pale. "Cyber sis, your arrest and Buffycism will have to wait until Monday. Right now, we have a birthday to rescue!"

With that, Rabid and KS dash out the automatic door and run directly into Detoured. KS and Rabid keep running, oblivious to Detoured's potential injuries.

"I'm ok!" Detoured calls after them. "Now, where did that mason jar with my eyeball go?" Detoured looks around, then spots the jar rolling across the parking lot. Not having any depth perception, she thinks it's directly in front of her. Reaching for it, she loses her balance and falls. When she gets up, she no longer sees the jar. She does, however, see a little red ball with a hamster in it.
