But I was thinking like you too (my noromo side was showing :-) ). That if she really knew then it was because it was by invitro. Hmm, an alien. Hadn't thought of that. Where are the tabloids with their Alien Love Child! headlnes?

I don't expect people to be litertal in casual conversation but in a show like this where every word is examined it should be written well. I remember in the Existence scene Scully used the phrase, "from the moment I became pregnant" and it bugged me then too. Besides Scully was shocked as can be when she announced she was pregnant so I don't think she had an inkling.
