Subject: Somehow I think that the road to love

(whether or not they say the word) started early, unknown or unrecognized by either M or S. As they worked together, went through the sad things in each other's lives together, they supported each other first as partners and then as very close friends. I think that they both knew subconsciously how they felt but were afraid to really push the issue until the last couple of seasons--the Millenium kiss was just a wake up call I think. I really don't think they were doing any sort of NP before that but that the kiss is what made them both realize their true feelings.

Since many off the episodes are out of order and certainly have no time limits that make sense to us (it is all make believe after all--terrific make believe though) I think that the logical progression of friend to love to lover to baby just followed a path that we have not been privy to in any sort of logical, visible manner. IMHO anyhow.
