"I'm the mayor of this burg, aren't I? I know EVERYTHING." With this, she sits back and folds her arms, defying KS to disagree.

KS tries to think of a snappy retort but, being so feeble-minded, she can only come up with, "Oh yeah?"

Kenamom rolls her eyes. "Off with you!" She dismisses KS with a wave of her hand. Putting on her half-glasses and green visor, she gets back to preparing the tax bills. KS backs out of the office, still trying to think of something clever to say.

Meanwhile, Kande has returned to the klub with her little snookie-wookums under her coat. Bubba greets her at the door, drooling just a bit. He quickly turns his head so Kande can't see the look of hunger in his eyes. He surreptitiously peeks at Kande, trying to figure out where the kitten is. When he doesn't see Pattini, he gets nervous. Suddenly, a sneeze comes from Kande's left sleeve.

"Bubba, will you call the vet? Pattini-wini seems to have a cold." The kitten's head pokes out of the back of kande's jacket and sticks her tongue out at Bubba. Bubba takes a swipe at her, misses, and falls to the ground. Kande looks at him. "Are you ok, Bubba?" He waves her off, scowls at the kitten, and goes to fetch the vet. He can't eat the kitten if it's sick, dammit! That could be fatal!

Kande takes the kitten to her office. As she opens the door, she lets out a girly scream. Pattini jumps out of her arms and begins scratching on the sofa. The office is trashed! Who could have done this?
