I am sorry this happened to you. I was operated on 11 times between April of 2008 and December of 2009, and still have terrible pain..It was for the arteries in my left leg..Marijuana or alcohol would help, but unfortunately I dont have that option, as I am in treatment for mental illness, and they often test my urine for drugs..both things are very painful,but Theres nothing I can do about it..Im lucky I can walk a city block,and need to use a cane and im only 58. Ive been in recovery from drugs and alcohol since 1993, with some disastrous relapses. This is why I often get angry at rockstars who use drugs, as that was what put the idea in my head to do them. I wanted to know what they knew, Keith Richards and Mick Jagger and The Beatles in Particular, and to go back even further, Marilyn Monroe and Judy Garland..Im just glad to be alive and as relatively sane as I am,as the drugs they used to stop the drugs were extremely painful, This is a lot of the reason I love Brian Jones, as he had a lot of the same problems and I found him very glamorous and wanted to be like him. The medicines I take now are remarkable, and work very well and dont cause pain all over me, and being disabled, I dont have to work any lousy day jobs anymore, and stay away from the NY Rock scene, as I cant afford a band,and cant walk to the clubs.
