I think it's a great poem and sincere to what Brian was going through to the very end... btw all of the drawings you have submitted are fantastic!! You are very talented and thank you for sharing the drawings on this forum. Brian would love every one of them (actually any of the Stones for that matter).

Again the poem speaks volumes as to what mattered most to Brian... which was his band and music. Since Mick and Keith wanted to go in another direction and write their songs only (clearly this frustrated Brian for a VERY long time) then Brian had to make some tough choices. For a while he played the part and was a team player, adding his "touches" to the music. Eventually, he got bored of the same three chord riffs that Keith and Mick introduced in the recording sessions. In the end he left. Brian was always head and shoulders above Mick/Keith (more brains, a better musician and better looking to the women...not to mention a impecable dresser) and his next band would have been a huge success as well.

Thanks for sharing the poem (it does sound a lot like Brian). Brian's original "vision" he had for the Stones when they first got started and where the Stones eventually ended up when he left.
