Are you referring to the tapes etc that Gloria Shepherd supposedly used to write her salacious piece of crap? Which I refuse to read by the way because Im sure I would rip out every page and burn it as I read it, if for no other reason than that she cannot hack her way through a simple sentence, and libraries frown on that sort of thing. I read the preview on Amazon and it was enough to make me want to barf.
All I can say about tapes is that Brian certainly never mentioned making any tapes, and I think thats the sort of thing he might have told me. He told me repeatedly that he trusted me, so if there were tapes I probably would have known.
Let me gather my thoughts together and see if I can explain my reasons for not believing in the murder theory. Not gonna happen today, I have my two little grandaughters and its too hard to concentrate!
And no, I have taken no offense! I was just a bit startled by the vehemence of the responses. Remember, to me he wasnt Brian Jones the Rock Star, but just Brian who I hung out with who happened to be in the Rolling Stones! I hung with other famous musicians too, in London in those days it was no big deal.
