Nope, the reasons weren't even good or logical. I was there at the time. Trevor was furious about Scott Jones' article coming out at the time and getting worldwide attention. He was claiming CNN and the BBC and other news outlets were all calling him wanting him. At my insistance, Roland made a beautiful pitch to C2C AM and they gave Trevor a three hour segment all to himself on the second biggest syndicated radio show in North America. The biggest media opportunity he will ever have in his life fell right into his lap. The station even gave him the opportunity to provide them all the questions to be asked of him! It was a golden opportunity and he couldn't squirm away from fast enough.
It was obvious that all the talk of CNN and BBC was just him grandstanding in front of those of us who supported him. When he caught up with me in April 2010 on AIM, he even had the audacity to tell me that he was being blackballed by the media!!!!!
Here is a guy who has his own website and can say anything he wants to at any time yet, he's being blackballed? He can't have it both ways, he tells lies to suit whatever situation he is in. Scott Jones has absolutely no problem getting article after article published saying Brian was murdered.
It wasn't as much the fact that he wimped out, but all the zany lies he kept making up, and none of the lies even corrolated with the other ones! He kept pulling new lies out of his butt, it was truly bonkers! Would anyone like me to list them all, just to see the lunacy I'm talking about?
I'm only giving you the crib notes version of what happened Teardrop, but in no way could the term "good reason" be applied in Trevor's case.
