But one cannot blame Trevor when things went bad.

I agree with you partially on this point Karen. Some bad things that happened to him were not his fault. However a lot of bad things were directly caused by him. Where do I start? Pat Putt, Gloria Shepard, that stupid seance, Paul Spendel to name a few. I'll stop there. He made many bad decisions.

Dissing best intentions on his part simply amounts to zero for me.

No one ever dissed his intentions of trying to get the case re-opened. I feel it is a noble cause (most likely a futile cause too) which is why and how I got involved with him and supported him in the first place. Along the way, the more he spoke, the less his stories added up. He constantly contradicted himself and is was so clearly apparent he was outright lying about many things. He couldn't keep his lies straight. One minute, CNN is calling him, the next minute, he's being blackballed by the media...well, which is it Trevor?

At least his intentions were good. That's all that counts, I think

I have to disagree. I think initially, his intentions were good, but I think he has a little cottage industry of people who send him money. Personally, more and more it looks to me like he's running a big con game. If Brian's case gets solved or if Sussex slams the door on him once and for all (which they did), which happened, then its over for him. He'd have to find something else to do with himself, which is why he keeps stringing everyone along. I bet he keeps telling his close supporters that a Judicial Review is right around the corner. In 2009, as soon as he turned his investigation into Sussex, he kept telling us he'd initiate the JR for the whole year, like he could snap his fingers and get it done. Right before I checked out, suddenly he needed $3500 in UK dollars to get it going. Funny, he never said anything about the money all along. So my guess is that he is still shilling for money, and I bet good-intentioned people are sending it to him too. I also bet there is a happy pubkeeper in Warwickshire, where all that money goes!
Good intentions or not, I just could not take all the lies and the zany stories that changed time after time. I could not, in good conscience keep on supporting him. He talks the talk but he doesn't walk the walk. Integrity counts, not intentions.
