I always wondered if she meant that Brian had become such a liability as far as touring went....they didn't know what to do, as he couldn't get a visa, and they hadn't toured in, like, 2 years, and at that point, they evidently really needed the money---and just the attention that touring would bring. Of course, after Mick T. joined the band, and Brian was dead, they embarked on a very successful tour...
