I thought this string was getting too far to the right of the screen, so I'm placing this reply under Jim's original post about Mick Taylor!

I believe you're right about Nigel and Rod Stuart. After all, Rod was in Jeff Beck's band before that one replaced Slowhand in the Yardbirds. Ron Wood was there too. It's just been sooooooooo many years since then that my memory is muddy about exactly where Nigel got his start.

I'll have to go back into my album collection one of these days and see if it contains any of that history on him in the information pack. I was obviously impressed with his singing, or I wouldn't have placed him on that board with the other Voices of the 20th Century rock scene. It would be interesting to find out what he's up to today if he's still among us.
