He smiled quietly at that, warmth washing over him at her admission that it was nice to run into him - sometimes he felt like his pining for her was terribly one-sided, even though she had told him before that she missed him and all that. As her tour concluded, he murmured a thanks and then one hand moved to rest at the base of her neck, his brows raising just a touch. "It wasn't anything important... Read it many times before." He really had just gotten distracted from looking over lecture plans and stuff, but none of it was really anything that needed to be done, he had literally just had no other, better way to spend his evening. Perhaps he could have put a little more time into getting settled into his 'new-old' apartment, but things were unpacked enough that it was functional now... He would have trouble finding the motivation to finish up the rest any time in the near future. "I really like it... It looks great." He assured her, his fingers squeezing her neck gently and then turning over so that they too were playing through her much shorter hair. He never would have asked her to or suggested that she cut her hair - it just would not have been an option to him - but now that she had, he really was a fan of the look on her. Though, he was pretty sure that nothing ever looked bad on her anyway...
