"Me too...I had a lot of stuff to get done but running into you was a definite plus too." She let out a gentle breath, her eyes drifting out over the empty campus before she absently pointed out the new trees and benches they had added since he had been gone, plus pointed out the new dorms. Without realizing it, she had shifted to stand right next to him, her arm brushing his as she pointed out the different sites around the campus that had changed in the past year or so. "Lots of things can change in such a short period of time..." She murmured softly in conclusion to her little mini-tour but she couldn't help but think how true that really was. Life had changed dramatically in the spot of a year. She had gone from having a full time boyfriend, being a full time student and being content to having a real career, being single and wanting more out of life than what she'd had. She wasn't sure if all the changes were for the better but they were done and changed and there was nothing she could do to take any of it back. "I am keeping you away from your reading." She stated finally with a small smile, her eyes dropping down to the railing of the patio enclosure before she straightened up and ran her hand over her hair, fingering the short locks. "I don't think I'll ever get used to not feeling those extra inches when I run my hand through my hair. I haven't washed it yet since I got it cut, I know I am going to use way to much shampoo." She shrugged, smiling though, it felt normal and right to discuss the simplest matters with him - they had always talked about anything and everything and that was an impossible habit to break.
