Some thoughts now that I'm caught up again (thank you SMH):

There is a powerful force on the island surrounded by concrete inside the bunker. That force is held in check by the numbers and is perhaps the cause of the crash, the other misfortunes of the French crew & how the Others came to be there. Those government/scientists types of the Dharma group set up this system but the project was abandoned & forgotten.

Jack really needs to accept that he's in an f**ked up situation & that Locke may be right about having faith. Jack seems to want plain old reality but none to spare on this island! Is that why Jack divorced (maybe) his wife? He couldn't believe in the miracle that cured her?

Jack & Kate need to do the deed now that they can clean up & not have 40 day stink on them. Looks like Sawyer might have found someone else...

If Hurley tells Locke his story, the whole thing will really fall into place for Locke.

Walt, Shannon, Sun, Claire & Charlie are getting little to no screen time. Especially Walt, I read online that his backwards message to Shannon was "don't push the button, the button is bad." (Shannon is in The Fog so I guess she was busy)

Where did Desmond go? Where's Rousseau?

The "Tailies" (the 23 from the tail section) may have been killed off by the Others which is why they are so suspicious and violent. Perhaps they are on a different island. It would be funny if the bunkers are connected.
