Subject: you cant have it both ways

wondering why the boobirds come out when we lose. There were very few posts when we upset Bona in Olean. The Bona fans are in an uproar because they lost to us. We played well in Montreal beating Wofford and Western Kentucky. Close loss to Bowling Green. Good win against Quin.
Yes we should have beaten STP. The league has figured out to foul Mitchell. He was 4 for 10 against STP and 0 for 6 against Syracuse. Still to be 5 and 4 without your starting point guard and best big man is remarkable. Reggies offense works when they can run their sets and hit their shots. STP was very physical and pressed and took us out of our game. The offensive rebounding is much better and Mitchell gives us a threat inside that we havent had in years.
Taking in Joe Jones is questionable. He is 6'10 and a local kid but has only played 2 out of the last 4 years. I am concerned about taj being in a walking boot. Overall, we have a better team than in years past.
The league is in chaos. We have a chance to win and finish in the top half. Considering our budget and fan support we are in good shape for the first time in years.

Boo birds, come on. Being critical of this team isn’t being a boo bird. Most of us worried about this game knowing how physical St. Peter’s is. The foul shooting continues to be an issue. This has been an issue for years. The losses to date would have been closer or wins if we had been better at the charity stripe. We’ve been patient and the let’s hope they make the proper adjustments. The MAAC is wide open. Let’s make it our year. Go Griffs!
