Canisius would have to release him from his NLI if he makes the request. Schools typically always grant the request for obvious reasons. The new staff would no doubt attempt to get him to stay. From everything I have gathered, I believe he will be a very solid MAAC player who is a great kid, plays extremely hard, is an outstanding defender, and more than anything - wins.
