The only way they will keep Staveskie and Long. Team will be loaded. Only lose Bryce and add Carter plus another recruit or 2. Probably 2 can't believe TJ will be back and Jones?

It’s not like all that talent is going to win the Final 4 next year. Sounds like a weak excuse to keep the coach & team. The players today have leverage with the use of the portal & NIL. Canisius needs to learn how to recruit & play in the new world of college basketball. Let the kids walk. You’ll have a new crop of talent every year. St. Peter Canisius pray for us.

He would not be fired. His contract would expire and he would not return.

This has to happen. Time for a totally fresh start. If you want to lose what's left of the fan base, retain Reggie.

We're still well below .500, overall and in the league. It's not like he's having some great, save-his-job season.

I have no problem letting the guy finish the season with dignity. The school needs to put some money against the job. If you want to win you need to pay. We keep trying to do this on the cheap. Enough of the lazy hires. Conduct a search and put forth the necessary effort the program, school and fans deserve.
