The entire program needs to be gutted, hire a hungry coach that is either single or would rather be recruiting in some dank gym even he is missing a birthday for someone in his family also hire assistants with the same mindset. It’s time to high someone who wants to prove themselves. I would rather have a reviling door with winning coaches & MAAC championships vs. being stuck at the bottom of the MAAC. No vision, or even mention of getting NIL in place or being active in the portal. Very frustrating to watch us year after year doing the same thing which is accepting our fate as bottom feeders.

Baldwinsville NY and the head coach of the boys varsity basketball team (Baldwinsville Bees).

Not sure the school is that progressive with their thinking.

"Fully understand"? "Transgression" is a synonym for "trespass" as in "forgive us our trespasses". How about forgiving him and giving him a second chance. St. Peter Canisius was big on that.

Addendum to "silly"? response earlier today. A second chance isn't "religious" although it was Iona that gave Rick P. a second chance and St. Johns hired him in a bigger job. But, so far, no Hell and Brimstone have been seen at either Catholic institution. He probably was forgiven before his arrival.

Yes. Silly. You framed it as religious. And Iona shouldn't have hired Pitino and St. John's shouldn't have either because he's a scumbag cheater. That has nothing to do with religion, it has to do with decency. Believe it or not, you can be a wonderful person and be an atheist. And you can be a dirtbag kneeling at a pew everyday. A large number of people and an ever growing number of people affiliated with Canisius couldn't give two shits about the Catholic church or religion in general.

Is Pat Beilein a cheating scumbag?

Does Pat Beilein have the professional experience to be considered as a viable candidate?

Is Pat Beilein young, enthusiastic, with a modicum of knowledge about the CU job, and perhaps some connections that would benefit him as CU coach?

If the answer to the first question is no, and if the answer to the second and third questions is yes, then does he merit a second chance, consistent with our institutional values?

I'm certain you'll tell us all what the correct approach should be.
