So, never hire a DIII coach because a women's coach struggled?

Guess we never hire a D1 assistant, because the last three we hired struggled.

Guess we don't hire a former D1 head coach, since the last one we had struggled too.

Every coach and every situation is different.

That's so, every coach and every situation is different. So, be careful who you hire. Especially in D-III up to D-I hires. Just be careful. Look at John Bielien: High School, then step by step by step up to Michigan. And he went step to step to step to step in D-I with each of his four D-I steps, a little higher each time. All the way to the HOF.

Scott Hemer wasn’t a success but he made it work at Genesee. Nice guy but struggled when it came to D1.
