He may have been but let's think about it - if the guy seriously thinks he can or wants to get back into college coaching, why hasn't he been rumored for assistant jobs, JUCO, D2, etc. His name never comes up for anything. I believe that says it all.

I believe he has been involved with multiple jobs over the last few years including assistant jobs / head jobs. The problem he has ran into, he has kids that are in Syracuse. He wanted to stick around to raise them as any good father would do! It will be interesting to see if Buffalo is a city he would be willing to move to.

I just think Canisius University is wasting people’s time if they refuse to change. Without major fund raising to buy the Griffs basketball players it’s a waste of time. Again Canisius University needs to raise $2 million dollars just to get the Griffs basketball program on Big East Conference level to pay for the Griffs basketball players. Even $3 million dollars for preferred to compete with the Power football factories in college basketball. The Griffs also need to raise money to pay rent at Key Bank Center for all our Griffs home basketball games. You do that your the best Western New York college basketball program in the area. That is the kind of money needed to get Western New York sports fans to take Griffs basketball seriously. Without the money I am talking about Canisius University is wasting everyone’s time in Division I college basketball today in my opinion. Go Griffs! Let’s Go Buffalo
