My only concerns - some real and some perceived - are the obvious lack of head coaching experience, lack of D1 experience, D1 recruiting potential/connections, inexperience as a head coach in dealing with adversity - losing streaks, media, fan/booster reactions, etc. Other than that, he seems like he comes from central casting. Certainly deserving of a really hard look.

No Canisius University doesn’t need to reach out to Gannon University. I know that school in Erie, Pennsylvania my late brother graduated from there. Two words Tom Chapman Bonnies basketball coach was a disaster no. Same with no Villanova basketball coaches both Marty Marbach and George Halcovage III were and are disasters as head coaches. So because Tom Chapman was bad at Bonaventure 32 years ago, Canisius shouldn't consider the current Gannon coach (who was 2 at the time)? Makes perfect sense.

Get over my personal hang ups? A busy body? You obviously have no clue of why PB was forced to step down 7 months after getting the Niagara job. I will say it one last time - PATRICK BEILEIN is NOT being considered, interviewed, thought of for the Canisius position! Not in the mix. Never was in the mix. Get over yourself!
