Thanks. When does Zo turn 18? Looks like our incoming Freshman class might each get significant playing time from the get go. Coaching, coaching, coaching from the get go also please. Over all the roster as a whole looks encouraging, IMO. The staff, especially without the senior assistant coach not on board yet, has done a wonderful recruiting job in an amazingly short time. Might the Griffs be a surprise to the MAAC?

Hopefully this puts an end to this debate. Easterling turned 18 in February of this year but is still eligible for the U18 division based upon the age eligibility calculation straight from the FIBA regulations handbook below -

Example: the age limit for U18 in a competition in 2017 shall be: 2017 - 18 = 1999. Any player born on 1st January 1999 or after this date will be entitled to participate in a competition for U18 in 2017.

I've also attached a graphic (below) of the 2024 U18 Americup team from Argentina.

Hopefully Easterling is buddies with the pictured Tyler Kropp (class of 2025). 6'7" from Powell, Ohio (Christian connection) and was offered by Stonehill in 2023 (Jenkins connection). Also has offers from Miami (OH), Vermont, Indiana St., Richmond, Ohio, and Toledo among others.
