We thank him for giving us a glimmer of hope each game. Now it's up to the coaches to build a team which has some chemistry & depth. Go Griffs!

Palesse, never lived up to his billing. Valpo recruit but was only a so so player. He is a grad transfer and will add value elsewhere. Remember the portal closes in May. We're a long way off, lots can change. Time to reset & bring a fresh group of young men who want to play D1 basketball. They're out there. Go Griffs!

So was he really hurt in the last 2 games or did we get Staveskied?

I've always said, "Tahjed," but Staveskied sounds better.

So it goes. Life as a mid/low major, the minute you get talented players more often than not they leave. I'm sure someone tampered with him, via his parents or an agent.

The portal officially runs from March 24-Tuesday, April 22.

I was more surprised on the I initial report that he was staying then hearing he will enter portal for third time which will make four schools in four years. He was a very good offensive player who had the opportunity to score 20 a game only because he played on a very bad team. Thought he might need to stay though to get enough credits at one school to earn a degree or have all of the degree requirements changed as well or is it just another example that for many of these players academics just don't matter?

I would think his role would change next year based on the talent coming in. Coach C for sure would want him on the roster for sure. There are never any guarantees in this new world of college athletics. I'm sure he was spent by the end of this season. He was the team. Let's see how this plays out. Go Griffs!

His role would have certainly been reduced from a scoring standpoint. His dad told me and another "famous fan" that that would have been fine as long as the team won next year. There's more to this story... Let's move on. The kids they are bringing in are very good, as well as those on the horizon.

Sure, i get they want to win but how many of the players from 2024 who transferred did win this year?

Is anyone in the NCAA or NIT, the only legit postseason events? Off the top of my head, not Dinkins; Duquesne sucked. Not Frank, Minnesota sucked. Not Tajh, Cleveland State didn't even make the Horizon quarterfinals.

With the better coaching they would have received, I expect we could have contended for the MAAC title had last year's team stayed intact and had everyone decided to play.

Staveskie lost to Siem in the Horizon semis and Siem lost in the finals.

good luck getting through to kid who thinks that they’re all that.

If we had the above mentioned this would have been an amazing year.

Go Griffs
