Agreed. The disparity is widening and widening. Not much madness anymore. And this will just further the position that the tournament should feature more Power 5 schools. Any "two bid" mid major conference hopes will be a thing of the past. How long before automatic bids disappear?

Just listen to some of the commentary on the top seeded teams. Most of their players are transfers . Between the desire to make NIL money, the opportunity to win, and get national exposure, why would good mid major players turn that down ? As much as I hate the system, I cannot blame them whatsoever. Go for it if you can.

I don't blame the players for taking the opportunity to earn money. For me personally - and I think for many Canisius and mid major fans - it is making me less and less interested. I derive little pleasure in watching the 10th place SEC team play the 7th place Big 10 team.

I have been saying exactly that for years. The more Mississippi and Iowa State's, the less I care.When Drake and St.Mary's get booted,I'm out unless Gonzaga makes a long run. Something about those Jesuits.
