Subject: Re: How to set DatabaseName in tests?
In reply to: Michel 's message, "Re: How to set DatabaseName in tests?" on 14:58:17 05/25/01 Fri

Hello Michel,

Sometiems it seems difficult to package a real world object in computer's object. The definition of objectmay by contextual. For example, cities with many citizens. Should you make a city object with collection of citizen objects? Alternatively, city can be property of the citizen. The former model making compiling a citizen list for a city easily. The later one can easily trace where the citizen is living in. Is there a Relational Object Database Management like RDBM?

When down to daily operation, RAD seems inavoidable. Ad-hoc report, new demand on information , etc. How to compromise odb with rad?

Pls. forgive my ignorance. I am fsacinated by object theory for many years but still not use them in real application.
