Hi Marcel,

You need to pass the test directory on the command line.

For example, if you installed in c:\odb then set the run parameters in the IDE to c:\odb\tests\testdb. The BDE will create files there when testing.


ODB is not RAD. The Spider ODB is very good to store complex information, which makes it very difficult to automatically put on forms at design-time. For RAD database, using Delphi's TTable and TQuery should be adequate. ODB is good when your program uses complex objects and you would like to store them in a database.
