It is my belief, also, that our carriages are driven by love, that this determines our direction and sets our compass toward what we define as home. In the case that a painter loses his eye sight, or an athlete is beset with paralysis, the disability is that the window through which the heart's ray connected with its brilliance to the rest of the world becomes darkened and closed. Sometimes grave imprisonments are imposed tragically by no fault of the person.

Yes, the spirit does have the freedom to cast its light through other windows, but this takes tremendous courageousness and is one of the ultimate challenges one can face. Amazing people, many unknown, young and old, accomplish this feat every day…many people struggle terribly with challenges for which there is no solution and bear grief that they must live with on a constant basis. It is not their fault or that they have failed in any way.

Sometimes the divine joy that lives in the center of our hearts is the solvent, sometimes the comfort. It is true that sometimes confusions and sadnesses can be self-imposed, the struggle to know which fear protects and which fear limits the amount of beauty and joy we receive in our lives is something that requires careful consideration. The goal is to receive the divine love that is always there, to not miss that spectacular sunrise or an opportunity to give of oneself and create more love and joy in the world, and to restrict no one in their capacity to do the same in the process.

Thank you for your sharing your message and thoughts.

Peace and blessings, Deborah
