Ah, I really like that quote, Kell! I don't always realize that being neutral or "not making a choice" is indeed a choice.

It reminds me of the line in the Rush song "Freewill":
"If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice."

No, Neeney, I've not heard of Being Erica. I'm assuming it's a tv show. I'll have to look for it. I found the quote online while looking at pages of quotes.

Hey BC. What brought up the "process of ponderation"... I have a person in my life who I've decided to set free from our "friendship". It was turning into something that was great when it was convenient for them and I decided that I wanted more than that out of our friendship.

It got me thinking of what I wanted, what I offer as a friend and about all the times I've declared myself neutral because I didn't want to have to choose a side. I never really considered that a choice but I can see where not choosing a side is still a choice.
