What a cutie! Such a handsome little man.
Being a stay-at-home mom is a huge commitment and it often isn't a decision that's easily made. If you can do it (and keep your wits about you), that's wonderful, but if not, the Universe isn't going to hold it against you and your child will always be loved and cared for no matter what. What do you do for work, Gigi? Do you have someone in mind to care for your son while you're away?
I stay home a majority of the day with my 11-month-old son until the husby gets home, then I go to work with eight two-year-olds. I love working with kids.
There are always lots of great conversations going on here so feel free to jump in whenever!

I work for a bank so I have some very regular customers and it is usually pretty busy--this is a big change for me, work is soooo much easier!!!
I have a daycare picked out but it breaks my heart to think of taking him when he will only be 10 weeks old. Daycare is so expensive too, it will cost more than my mortgage but you have to do what you have to do. I wish I could do part time but the bills need paid...oh well, I am not one to dwell on the negative, think how happy I will be to see my little one after a long day at work. I will always have something to look forward to!

when I was expectig my first child ...
- I was working as an engineering assistant for an insurance company, and I initially had plans of returning to work after my maternity leave because I thought there would be no way that it would be "financially feasible" for our family to "survive" on one income.

but, after I held that little guy in my arms
- my heart could not bear the thought of leaving him with someone else
- I became a "stay at home - work at home" Mom, and never regretted for a moment that decision to do so!
raising my three kids ...
- having the privilege of staying home with them ...
- being there as they took their first step
- spoke their first word
- I will treasure those moments and memories forever!
