Welcome Angelyn! I loved the story about your mother!

I'm glad you found us and hope you enjoy it here!

Stewart has moved on to other things, but he still pops in occasionally.

Well, Mom and I finished Christy-New Beginnings today. This city gal here got some more stories from Mom after watching this show. I listened to her talk to me about how when she was little, her oldest sister now 80, would share with her about the time my Grandma and Grandpa Patrick had to hold their cabin door shut when the flash floods would come through their cove around Mt Sterling, KY since the cabins were built into the mountains. Mom said when she went back to visit her Grandma around 94-96 that she almost got caught in the flood and how scary it was. The movie stirred up some memories that she was able to share with me. I will always cherish these movies in my heart. She is desiring to go back to her roots. Her health is not well. We never know what God has in store for any of us from day to day. God bless you all for sharing on here. I am grateful for this forum and the gifts and talents. I appreciate the arts. We have a 25 yo son who has challenges with high spectrum autism. CYT...Christian Youth Theater helped him so much with singing and acting. Happy thanksgiving! We all have a lot to be grateful for. Sincerely, Angelyn "Angel" Lollar
