(And the compassion, caring, and companionship behind homosexuality are perfectly normal. It's the carnal element that isn't, and isn't healthy.)

Sex alone is not love, but it is commonly used as a form of expressing love between two people -- hence the difference between effing someone and actually making love to them.

But why is homosexual lovemaking considered wrong or even unhealthy? Heterosexual intercourse is more susceptible to contracting HIV than homosexual intercourse -- so the "healthy" argument is at best dubious.

Other than the fact that homosexual relationships are incapable of procreation -- which is not directly relevant when we're talking about love anyway... you don't HAVE to procreate with someone just because you love them. In fact, many people who DON'T love each other end up procreating... just look at any given episode of Jerry Springer to see the amount of illegitimate children born from lust rather than love.

And there are many heterosexual couples out there -- married couples, who choose not to have children. Is that wrong?

So ultimately, what I'm asking is, why do Christians consider homosexual love-making to be wrong? And I want some compelling reason other than, "it wasn't the way nature intended" or some bollocks like that. If you're going to argue that, then is fellatio wrong?
