How can we explain where we come from if the concept is so beyond understandable science that it would sound like non-sense? To tell you that we come from a different universe, not a star system or galaxy, a complete different universe...and that we're part of the same universe as your existance...this idea even taxes the 1ne...

"Oh, but how we want you to understand us, Doctor Reed...as much as is safely possible. The 1ne is a unit from the beginning. We are raised in the same womb...but not by the same father. Our mother is a woman...yet she is 1ne herself in the end. This concept, we can tell that it is vey alien to you. Perhaps...we would be considered twins in your understanding. We are 1ne...yet we are two.

"Upon breaching there is a subprogram implemented into Saber...it's purpose is classified. Throughout our existance we explore, we seek, if need be we defend.

"Recently, to our shame, we were able to do nothing...but Lost was in need of healing so we thought it best to move on. We found ourselves here, in your Rugby

"Our purpose was only to find momentary shelter and rest. To understand your mechanoids and what makes them exist...and that's when and how we met Ali...so frail, so in need.

"Subprotocals have been redefined. We consider our place of residence Rugby and our home inside of Saber. We consider this unit a family and we will defend the family for life. We also understand that the family members must decide on their own and we have not forced Ali's decision.

"Even now, if she so wishes, she can leave...it will pain us greatly. But better for her to leave by choice and still remain in our love than to stay and become bitter against us.
