Subject: HI! Just curious if anyone knows whether the Pittsburgh Winter Feis is proceeding? It is listed on NAFC so thought this would be a good place to ask!! thank you!!

the feis syllabus for both days states that this is a traditional feis, and that full dance costume is expected of all dancers.
That being said, I know of several dancers who are between dresses now, and have to wear black leo/skirt. We will see on Saturday how it looks, and may go "blackout" for Sunday, just to switch it up.

The Halloween Feis in Pgh actually happened in September on the 26th.
These feis on 31st and 1st are not Halloween Feis, even with the dates. The syllabus for the 1st states this is a traditional feis. The syllabus for the 31st is the syllabus from the original March date.
You could email Jim and ask him. He may be ok with costumes, but you should plan on solo dress/black leo just in case.
Not trying to argue, just pointing out what the syllabi state. The dates of comp make it confusing, to be sure.
