Dear Pittsburgh Feis committee
Thank you for your hard work putting this feis together so our dancers could do what they love! I can’t even imagine the many obstacles you had to overcome to run this feis. The outdoor venue was lovely and very socially distant. The stages ran quickly and the monitors kept track of the kids, encouraged mask use and proper distances. How did they manage to multi-task like that and talk to the kids with warmth and encouragement? Having the results packed individually with printed comments was a nice touch. You did a great job of updating quick feis so we were able to see our dancer’s progress. Having to wait for the actual medals gave us time to cheer on our fellow dancers.

Thank you again for a job well done! Looking forward to Sunday!

There were probably 50 kids plus parents jammed into a 30 foot area around the single results table holding up their competition numbers (as directed by the results staff). I realize that they went through hoops to be approved, but social distancing wasn't possible in that results set up. I'm thrilled that they had the feis, but this is a safety concern in an otherwise distanced feis.
