Several safetys clicked off in unison as he reached for a compartment on his chest.

"DON'T SHOOT! Wait, wait! I was reaching for energon creds! To pay bail! What kind of starbase would shoot a drunk and disorderly? Huh?"

One of the guards reached into the compartment for Skyjack, while the others kept him covered. To his credit, the Decepticon managed not to so much as fidget, although he wanted to see if he could take on the guards and the autoguns. He also wanted to see if he could get out of this alive. The guard found that, for once, Skyjack had not lied; he had enough to pay bail after all. The guard quickly went to the terminal, covering for the absent Walter, and began processing Skyjack's official release.

"About time, too--hey easy! You guys're gonna keep me covered until everything checks out or what? Okay, okay...just asking!"

Skyjack fumed. The process was taking entirely too long but he dared not try another escape now, not when they seemed to actually be buying his bogus story. The sooner he got off Rugby the better. He'd make Flux pay for this, and hoped never to set foot on the Starbase again....
