Subject: Boeckle entered Engineering and noticed Forge in the far corner of the bay.

He couldn't tell what he was working on from this distance and he didn't try. Forge was one who loved his work and would stay long after all were gone to do what he loved to do.

Kindred spirit thought Boeckle. In his hand he had a couple of data pads with the most recent discoveries inputed. True, he had already fired them off to his higher ups, but he wanted to make sure Forge got a look at this.

He approached the Chief of Engineering making sure to be heard...just in case Forge was working on something he didn't want to be seen. As a just in case, Boeckle would avoid looking at the screen as well. He himself was a true scientist and he didn't like it too much if someone came making commentary on a project while he was still in the rudimentary thinking stages of it. He hated persons like that...and modeled himself as the complete opposite.

He coughed and as his habit, he didn't bother saying hello to Forge. He had seen him on and off throughout the day...hello's were so redundant. All he did was put the data pads there before the Chief of Engineering and raised a brow. Forge would know the question. Are these potential engineering problems and if not, how soon could we get a plan for operations ready? Forge would know that courses were already plotted by Astrometrics, and in fact, he may have plans already set up for this sort of problems.

Maybe not.

A star system dissappearing and a Starbase coming online after who knows how many years.
