I would change "the" to "a"

The Education committee serves this function in GODORT and I think the statement should acknowledge the fact. See if the Education Committee would by into the concept and endorse the statement and thier role in making it a reality.

Again yu may want to specifically name the relevant GODORT Committees and see if they want to coordinate? Initial coordination might be small but might include being on the NAAN (National Action Alert Network.

Just a few comments - You all pulled off one great conference for Membership, great job and applause for Jill,Kathy, Jim, Christine, Earl, Janette, Karen, and Louise. You all really raised the bar for the next committee.
