Still in a state of daze, the young girl recoiled as the hurt boy pushed her away. Her mind was blank and she felt as if she was not really there, but instead watching herself in some sick, unnatural dream.

It would have been quite a site to a passerby. There she sat, Sadie Rose, the princess of Kavanagh, kneeled by a dying (dying, she thought to herself over and over) boy with a wolf pacing about them.

It took a few long moments for Sadie to react. She finally realized that her attempt to stop the bleeding were not helping and only hurting the wound more. In some lost sense, Sadie knew that she should have kept fighting to apply the cloth to the rip in the boy's skin, but she saw the hurt in his eyes and the thought of making that hurt worse overpowered all other thought.

A tingly, slightly warm feeling had been pulsing through Sadie's chest for a few minutes, but only now did she recognize it. It took her another bit of time to realize what the sensation was, but it was not a new feeling. The princess was a elemtary - very elemtary - healer; a trait inherited from her mother. The mix of her eternal willing to heal and her maternal instincts were telling her to use her powers.

There had been precious time wasted, what with Sadie reacting so slowly to every change around her. But now this new willing to heal was forcing Sadie to move faster, if only a bit. Her slender, child's body leaned forward and her hands automatically outstretched. Her normally bright green eyes were dully blank, she acted as if she was sleepwalking. Her tiny finger tips graced the boy's ripped flesh. She knew she was hurting him, but the more contact she could make the better she could try to use her magic.

Normally the touch of the gory body would have made Sadie sick -- even the sight would have sent her swooning. But no emotions seemed to exist in her mind. She felt the warmness spread through her chest through her arms and into her hands, pulsing and vibrating. Eyes closed in a tight shut, every fragment of her willpower pushed towards the place where her fingers met his wound. A light glow, so weirdly happy in the gory scene, escaped her small hands and she felt as if everythig inside of her was flowing into the wound.

The glow and warmness only lasted for a few moments. The amount of energy she had put into the motion, more than she had ever even attemted before, made Sadie fall back weakly. Limp hands dropped to her sides. Her eyes slowly mad their way up to the wound...and looked back down with sorrow. The attempt to heal him had done almost nothing. The blood slowed for a good three seconds and the slimmest part of the open skin had come remotely close to moving back to its correct position. Her face showed defeat, though she didn't feel it inside of her. She hoped feverishly that mabye she had corked his pain for a few moments, though she doubted it. What else could she do?

Sadie's eyes moved from the boys to the wolfs, back and forth, showing almost nothing except an apologetic, sorrowful glance.

((ooc- Um, yuck. It's really horrbile. I didn't revise or even look for typos cos I'm feeling lazy, so if there's any huge mistakes that you can't understand, ask away. It's really bad, I'm sorry...but I least I posted! -hopeful grin-))
