Heheh.

A lot of what you're lamenting can be tracked directly to Mario. His bombastic style encouraged other people to write just to try to keep up. I admit that my production has fallen off but I do try to put together a London report with reasonable frequency.

JFF, my advice is not to rely on anybody else to use your "Whispers" article. Just submit a report to Paul directly. If he doesn't put it up the next time he updates the site, harass him. I've been doing it for four years now, it works pretty well. :)

But, in my defence, I did write game

Sorry, I liked them too.

I sort of like the idea of requiring the host team to do something of this sort, but the truth is that not everybody feels comfortable writing like this.

While I will admit that it was easier to write things like mid-season reports when we had two weeks between games, I prefer the pacing of one week. Perhaps the answer there is to take two weeks after Week 7 to give me a chance to write a mid-season report!

Well, yeah, but we run the risk of stagnating if we sack half the GMs, too. I don't like any plan that would directly make a weak team weaker, and by and large the less-active GMs have weak teams (last year's Austria was an exception to the rule, although it is true that unfortunately not all active GMs have strong teams.)

Really, if people just want to yell at me personally, I'll probably respond by writing more. :)
