Subject: Question to Holdout

I have a theoretical question:
If there is a holdout player and before training camp
he is traded to another team, would he be able to
attend training camp there ?

In reality this would be like a John Elway who did
not wanted to play with the team that drafted him
and got traded to Denver.

So a team with a holdout can think about two options:
a) keeping the player without training camp and playing
only after week 4
b) trading him for someone who helps immediately the team.

Obviously nobody would like to get a player still in
holdout, so this will only work if the player is after
the trade treated like any other rookie.

What do you think ?
What is your ruling in that case Paul ?

Bye and tschuess,
Marco
