Good point, we didnt really talk about what happens if the team trades the holdout.

Again being realistic (I do love realism !) then if the team cannot sign this pick early then they would trade him to a team where he would sign.

I suggest (as this has caused a lot of pain !) that we allow Mexico to trade this player who can then attend training camp and weeks 1-4 etc and be a 'normal player'. IF Mexico keeps him then obviously he will miss training camp and weeks 1-4.

This in a way is fair for Mexico and the other teams who might want that player.
