This is a good point, but that's also what happens to real rookies that hold out. Look at guys like Curtis Enis.

Yes, but it's not fun for 12 GMs to watch 6 GMs constantly win and win and win and win, and if you've noticed, most of the GMs that are still in this league are guys who consistently win. Not many are brave enough to stick through consecutive 3-11 seasons while watching Frankfurt, Rhein, and Austria constantly carve up the rest of the league!

Nobody seems to complain when Paul throws in something to make the league MORE powerful (like the sleepers)...

For the record, I've been advocating for years that the best way to make the league more fair and interesting is to disband Austria and hold a dispersal draft. :)
