I, of course, am very favorable to this idea. Although, Marco makes some good points, the reason someone should be a GM is so that they can be challenged on many levels. I know that I enjoy the draft and training camp more than anything else. What these rules do is force you to truly be a GM.

What I would REALLY like is to have every team submit 2 players that they want to "protect", anybody else is game to be a holdout. These would be players that demand a trade and MUST get it or not play. As someone mentioned in this thread, particularly vulnerable would be 3+ year players who are riding the bench with good attribute scores. They, and their agents, would simply not tolerate it.

Challenge the GMs and see how they respond!
