Subject: Why do we allow evil?

All are attached to God because we are all really one with God. The separation we feel in this realm is part of a choice we have made to experience (Shown in the choice we made at the Tree of the Knowledge of God and Evil) and see duality or multiple facets of the One.

We cannot see without contrast. This is color or experience. There can be no life without death, or pleasure without pain.

The illusion is to think that any of this is evil or not God. It is all part.

Then our question “Why these things are permitted to exist?” falls apart. They must exist. Where they do not need to exist, we can only blame ourselves for allowing them. God has allowed us to choose how we experience reality. We chose the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. This allowed the One to be seen differently than just Life.

Why do people misuse religion and people's faith? We permit them to do so. We are too afraid to decide for ourselves, that we choose to follow someone that makes us feel better about ourselves somehow. The issue is “What comfort do these people offer in exchange for their follower’s devotion?” If we could figure this out we would go a long way to understand the deficiencies of our cultures.
