She was standing outside of the stall, looking in the grid they set as a "window" for the space beyond the door at the mare as she circled her stall, looking for a comfortable position. Sure enough, the mare found a comfortable spot, folded her front knees and dropped herself with a groan onto her side, the tiny white feet already showing, presenting soles down and one slightly ahead of the other as they were meant to be. "You aren't going to help her?" Interest, however, didn't mean he actually knew anything.

- The delivery proceeded as it was meant to - first feet, then fetlocks and then a velvety little nose, breaking from the placenta as it should. Bella performed like a star at the shoulders and after that, the foal slid easily away from her and she lifted her nose, arching her neck with a soft whicker for the beautifully colored palomino foal that was produced. Eliza stepped into the stall briefly to help move the foal closer to Bella's head and pull it away from the sac, but then stepped back out to let mother and foal bond. "I think that's a filly."
