Things just seemed so hectic lately, aside from the wedding and the house and her college applications to sort out- she was busy getting spencer sound and fit for the showing season and also working extensively with Pablo every day and also with her filly Mia. Mia wasn't officially Lacey's yet but in every way except paperwork she was. Lacey had had a busy morning, she'd been riding pablo this morning- they were doing well on thr ground work- since he was only three they were only working on the flat- doing lots of dressage- which was pretty new to lacey but was important to build up Pablo's muscle and elasticity. They were also busy de-sensitizing him to the scarey world of brightly coloured fillers and potted plants and water that he would have to face when he started showjumping. He was hard work but Lacey loved it- they got on like a house on fire and just seemed to connect- but with the mares in season he was a handful at the best of time- an absolute menace at the worst. After she was done at the stables she'd helped out at the house- the contractors were happy to let her pitch in witht he plastering and sanding down- so when she came upto the lowell house her hair was in pigtails and she was head to foot in dust and plaster- her dungaries folded down at the waist over a white tank- a red headscarf on her head. She spotted him on the couch and headed over, dropping to the floor by his head. "I'm exhausted."
