  • He couldn't help but laugh when he lifted his arm and looked up and saw her all in a state, and shook his head, dropping his arm back over his eyes, letting one arm fall off the edge of the couch lazily so he could grasp around in the dark for her hand for a moment or two before he finally found it. He gave it a squeeze, and then a soft smile covered his features. "You can say that again. I can only lounge for another hour and then I have to get back into the darkroom." And then he'd come to bed smelling of chemicals and exhausted but completely satisfied - he had a good measure of work he needed to get done because they had another meeting with the wedding organizer in the morning. She certainly didn;t want to be the reason he was exhausted and she definately didn;t want him to fall behind because of her- at least her exhaustion came with a sence of satisfaction- and she was doing it all because she wanted to. • And Ryan was glad that Lacey was around to encourage his mother - she was more competitive and lively when she was hanging out with Lacey than she ever was with any of her stodgy garden party friends that she'd inherited from her father. She hadn't been unhappy before Lacey, but she was certainly living live vibrantly these days. "Mom was saying he looks great. I'm really proud of you, and so glad you're back on track physically, too." The physical therapy hadn't been easy on her, or him. • That first jump on Spencer since his rehabilitation had been a little nervewracking- but Eliza had made her stay focused and possitive and they worked up from ground poles to about 2ft in the first week- and it was like he'd never missed a beat- infact he was so peturbed and inimpressed witht he small little jumps they were presenting him with that he had even given a little playful buck after they'd cleared a 2ft straight one day. Things had only gone up from there. Now he was completing courses with just as much style and ease as they ever had. For such a little horse he had a mighty jump on him- his 15.2 hands could compete against any 17h horse. "Me too... My arm feels absolutely fine now... not even an ache." She grinned and twisted to kiss him, a smile dancing in her blue eyes. His parents were paying for the wedding and had let them have the old barn at no cost- and she was hugely grateful to them for all of it. Their marriage councelling had gone by the wayside since the counceller told them that despite their being so young there didn;t seem to be anything that they couldn't agree on and that they seemed dully prepared for everything, and that she was really wasting his parents money. He laughed, pressing his forehead to hers playfully, his hands closed around her waist loosely. He had been doing fairly well and the word had been getting out about his talent - he had done several horse shows already this season and was being booked for a wedding after theirs.   • She brushed his hair back out of his face affectionately, dropping another kiss to his lips "She'll probably be a little witch again... She was only playing- she knew that Mia would turn out great once she got used to the whole being tethered to a human thing- she was perfectly happy to skip around after Lacey in the paddock- it was just when they put the halter on her that she instantly resisted and fought. • He laughed a little, recounting the massive fight to the death she'd tried to put up last time out and shook his head, moving a hand up to cup the back of her head, tugging her headscarf off and tangling his fingers in her golden curls. • She grinned a little at that "I'm used to keeping her daddy in line- a weany little filly is no match for me and my body guards." Carlos and Ramone seemed to watch her ever move since the accident- and they were always on hand to help with Pablo or Mia if she needed it. She grinned a little and shook her curls free, tucking them back behind her ears "I'm going to show her in the young sportshorses and coloured sporthorse classes over summer I think... when your mom does some dressage with Pablo..." Between her jumping spencer and the other shows they intended going to they wouldnt have a free weekend at all- but Lacey figured she wouldbt have the time over winter to show Spencer in the winter jumping classes like she had the previous one- and after that she would be out of her age class and into the adults. • He laughed, allowing her to finish unbuckling his belt before he picked her up, hitching her around his waist and heading for the bed where he dropped her onto her back, with him following suit, not moving much from the spot he'd been in with her legs hitched around his waist. She grinned as she opened her eyes to him, playfully flipping him onto his back and sitting astride him as her lips and fingers returned his attentions, letting her lips trail down to his nael in a slow, distracted path as her fingers worked at removing his pants- which she did expertly, taking his boxers along with them. • He laid back eagerly to accept her ministrations - she may not have had much experience before they had been together but she knew exactly what worked for him in a way that only a pair as close as they were could. He dropped his hands to rest on her hips, and then slide up her sides as she moved down his body, letting his green eyes slide closed as his head rested back on the pillow - when she removed his boxers, it was more than evident that he was more than filled with desire. • He sighed heavily, drawing his hands back to her hips as their lips met and drawing her hips to his in an easy movement, joining their bodies to fit together in the most intimate way. His fingers kneaded against her flesh for a moment, holding her still, just there, before he finally encouraged her movement with his hands, his lips still melded to hers. He never got tired of her body and the way that they worked together so well, and each time they came together, it felt as good as the first time, after all of that waiting and strengthening of their relationship. • Her blue eyes lingered on his a moment or two, a smile tugging delicately at her lips as she paused the kiss as they met, her eyes sliding closed as they joined, her breath warm against his lips before a kiss was laid on them again. Even if it was mere days she missed him , missed the way they made each other feel. Her hips moved in perfect union with his, she had learned every movement of his body long ago and knew exactly what he needed- just as he knew her- probably better than she knew herself. • He couldn't help the smile that drew itself across his features as he gathered her up in his arms, pulling a blanket over their slightly damp bodies to keep them from getting a chill and turning over on his side with her gathered in his arms. "That was good, but we'll probably need more practice." He felt completely void of stress now, which was good because he had a long evening of work ahead of him if he was going to be able to go with her to the wedding planner.... but he pushed those thoughts out of his mind for the time being, choosing instead to bask in the moment without considering everything that stood between him and the wedding date. He would have been content to forget about the work for an hour or two in favor of laying with her for that time, just to spend the time together. Pulling himself back into his pants and tee easily, he rubbed his hands through his hair. "Then I'll see you in a couple of hours, I guess. I'll be in the darkroom."
